To reach the light at the end of the tunnel, you need to go through it. Things are not always served on a silver platter. You need to go through a lot to do great things in life. Its a long journey of obstacles and hurdles. There are times in life, when you feel stuck. You don't know where you are going. Nothing seems to make sense. You try to connect the dots, but somehow fail. You look around for answers. You look behind yourself, at your tracks of the past, searching for a torch that might help you move forward. But you don't find anything. So, you pause. You look at the road ahead of you, that you are too scared to step on, so you shut the door, run to the darkest corner and hide, waiting for someone to come and bring you to the bright side. In other words, you give up.
But, that shouldn't be an option . I mean, you have worked so hard, all your life for that big dream then why give up now? When the dream is right there, waiting for you, why stop now?
Here is what you do.
You stand up. Stand up real tall. Scoop up all the courage you have and reach to the door knob and turn it with a brave smile on your face and a "CAN DO" attitude. And as soon as you step on the road, do not stop. Keep walking, wherever the road takes you. You will stumble, you will trip and you will fall. But you will also, get back on your feet, dust off the dirt and walk again cause thats how strong you are. You learn from wherever you can and hold your head high through the rain and the storm. And when you reach the light, let down your hair and feel the wind. You will know it was all worth it.
Reaching the skies is the ultimate goal but the climb is what makes you ready for it. You need to go through, to grow in life. Sure, the hurdles, the difficulties , the obstacles seem hard and scary but going through them is what makes you stronger than ever, more brave than ever and more mature than ever .
"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." - Kelly Clarkson
So remember ,
You are strong and you are enough. Don't let anybody say otherwise. The walk might be dark and difficult and you also might have some pit falls but, as Colbie Caillat said,
"You don't have to give it all away, you just have to get up."
Get up and walk till the sun shines at you!
